Polycarbonate plastic is one of the toughest plastics out there.  It is 20 times stronger than Acrylic or Perspex sheet, and 200 times stronger than glass.  So is ideal for safety applications. Further, since it is resistant to chemicals, heat, it is great for automotive parts.

Polycarbonate sheet is an enhanced UV-resistant sheet with exceptional weatherability and superior impact strength.  UV is the perfect choice for for architectural applications where extended service life and resistance to colour shift is required. Polycarbonate sheet is easily thermoformed, fabricated, and decorated.
